today started my day by meeting a cheekopek taxi driver.
once i board the cabbie, he began to say "xiao jie, ni hen piao liang. ken qi lai hen fresh and inspirational....blah blah blah..."
yucks.
then he kept talking to me until i could not listen closely to the radio.
what a morning lo!

at night went to the clinic just to buy some medicine but was totally turned off by some rude buggly old witch! i shall personally complain to the doc one day!
what a night!

oh, i went boozing with colleagues at le baroque (CHIJMES) last friday night.
call me a mountain tortoise by all means, that was really my first time entering CHIJEMS!!!
we had 2 rounds of drinks and left at around 1 plus.
i had Kilkenny and Strawberry Margarita plus some finger food shared among us.
the Fisherman's Basket was tasty but i find that the food was so little that they literally only made up a basket's quantity. those regular calamari, sotong balls, chicken fillet and fries lo.......
all of us had beer at first but we were all complaining that it was getting warmer towards the end 'coz guess where we were sitting?


WE WERE SITTING OUTSIDE WITH NO AIR CON!

so the girls suggested getting something cool like margaritas and breezer...
you know what?
we always knew that berries like strawberry and blueberry are powerful anti-oxidants right?
who actually knew that alcohol could bring out the max amount of antioxidant in them?
hehehe.

so next time girls, be smart.
though drinking too much alcohol is bad for the skin sometimes, choose berry cocktails to counter its effect!!!
